The Gerry Gessie Signature Series - This is a first for Sugarbox and maybe the only one like this on the planet. Boston Bouzouki: This prototype is alittle further along than shown here. This is our first Irish Bouzouki. It has a solid body, flat back, contoured top, Pri Mavera wood from Mexico body,Brazillian Cherry center inlay, Maple neck with Resin Encapsulated old growth pine fingerboard. The 300 year old pine has a petrified feel and has a figured glass-like finish. This solid body will have 2 custom piezo pickups and a vintage blade type magnetic pickup with adjustable internal pole hieght. Hybrid alloy strings will help transfer sound to both pickup types.
